Francesco Paola

Vice President, Client and Partner Services

Francesco Paola brings more than 20 years of IT strategy, software development and professional services experience to Cloudscaling. He has a proven track record of success building and launching venture-backed businesses—from founding through IPO or acquisition—in rapidly growing industry sectors. He has held such positions as Director at Cambridge Technology Partners, Vice President Global Banking at Scient (a pioneer in the e-commerce delivery space), Co-Founder of Trinity Partners (an innovator in the financial services BPO space), which was sold to WNS Global Services, and Co-Founder of IronRidge (one of the leading US solar racking firms).

As Vice President of Client Services at Cloudscaling, Francesco is responsible for all customer delivery engagements. He led the team that deployed the open cloud for KT (formerly Korea Telecom) under the company’s uCloud brand, and is currently involved in deploying multiple cloud infrastructures for a major global telcos.

Francesco received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
